Review by hotel critic
Grand Oliver offers a blend of luxury and value that remains unmatched in the bustling city of Jaipur. As a documentary filmmaker and photographer passionate about India's cultural heritage, I appreciate the authenticity this hotel exudes. However, during my brief visit to check the room before official check-in, I observed some maintenance issues, such as a malfunctioning AC and a room without a window, which may affect the overall guest experience. the complimentary breakfast added value to the package, making the overall cost somewhat justified. The hotel staff, particularly the bell boys, exuded warmth and friendliness, enhancing the overall experience. However, there were some shortcomings in the room upkeep and customer service that need attention to elevate the guest experience to a higher level. In conclusion, Grand Oliver presents a decent option for budget-conscious travelers seeking a touch of luxury in Jaipur, with the potential for improvements to fully align with the value they offer.
